Hey MaM Backers!

We finally got our samples back from LongPack! We're loving how these samples are looking and can't wait for production to start. We're still waiting on the samples of the plastic volcanoes, which we should have sometime next week. Once those are approved, we can move forward with the final step of production.

As of right now we are anticipating an end of summer fulfillment date. We are able to update addresses at this point in time, though we do ask that all updates are made by Monday June 14th.

Production Update!

Hey MaM Backers!

We apologize for the silence this past month! We've had a lot of back and forth with our manufacturers hashing out the details of production assets for MaM as well as a reprint of Dragoon Standard and Gold. We are beginning the sample production, and once received and approved we can move forward with the entire print run. This process, without any hiccups, will set us up for a summer 2021 delivery date.  We're extremely excited to get these samples in our hands, and once we do we will update you with photos to share in our excitement. This is a relatively hands-off process for LWG once the assets are handed over, so until we receive samples no news is good news!

Addresses at this point in time are locked, but we are able to update them for you. If you have any changes that need to be made at this point in time, please email us at [email protected].

In other news, we've launched our long time coming Kickstarter for Heads Will Roll! Heads Will Roll is a pocket dexterity game designed by dragons that uses solid metal skulls rolled out each round, flicking at a goal, and passing through gates for bonus points along the way. It feels great in your hand, plays quick, and can be played almost anywhere. Check it out here!

VAT Fees & Production Update

Hey Might and Magma Backers!
We are finalizing assets and sending them over for sample productions. With Chinese New Year beginning this week, Longpack will resume sample production at the end of the month. We cannot wait to get those samples in our hands and to share them with you! 

With our current production timeline, we are looking at a May/June delivery date. 

We’ve spoken with our foreign fulfillment centers (specifically for EU and UK orders) and they finally have clarity on how VAT is being charged. It used to be covered with our import fees as we shipped goods from the manufacturers to the fulfillment centers, but Brexit has forced UK fulfillment centers to change the point at which VAT is collected to the point of sale. This was unfortunately quite complicated,  but the basic  breakdown is that since the UK is not currently considered "EU Friendly", all orders shipping into the EU from our UK fulfillment center will need to be charged VAT. VAT charges differ from country to country, but typically fall between 15%-20% of the order total. This is a new cost for affected backers. However, Lay Waste is covering $1000 of these additional costs to reduce the individual burden for these backers. We will be using BackerKit for VAT, so you will be able to login to see what those costs will look like for your pledge. Because orders are locked, if changes need to be made to your order please let us know through a KS DM or via email ([email protected]) and we can make those changes for you. To allow for some time to make adjustments to your pledge if needed, we will be charging for VAT on Monday February 22. Please make all changes before then.

We are glad to have some clearer insight on this bizarre step in the process so we can redirect our focus on manufacturing and bringing this game to life.

Pledge Manager Closing

Hello Dragons!

We're excited to say that the time has finally come to close down the Pledge Manager.  We will be locking orders and charging cards starting Monday, January 18. 

What does this mean for you? This means that pre orders, add ons and shipping costs will be charged to the CC you have listed. This also means that you will no longer be able to make changes to your orders or shipping addresses. At your convenience, please ensure that your shipping information is correct. Pledges that are returned are subject to additional shipping fees if the address listed in your BackerKit is incorrect. 

We are currently working on getting samples from LongPack, which has had an unfortunate, but minor delay that has been resolved. Once we have samples to share, we most certainly will do so. We are still on track for an early 2021 delivery date, though it will not be in January as originally intended. 

As always, we would like to thank you for your patience and for being amazing and supportive backers! We can't wait to get this game into your hands, and push forward with some of the other irons we've got in the fire.

Hey MaM Backers!

Thank you for your patience with getting the pledge manager launched. We are still in a bit of a limbo with what's going on with UK to EU shipping, and this may cause some shuffling around later on in terms of who we are using to fulfill our EU orders. We are just as antsy as you to get the pledge manager launched, so we've sent over the pledge manager set up to be reviewed by BackerKit. Once they review and we make whatever adjustments necessary to make sure it's in tip top shape, we will send out surveys. This should be early next week. 

In other news, look at these super beautiful canvas Liquid Gold Maps we have begun to receive from Heart of the Deernicorn! (insert heart eyes emoji) These maps will be available as an add on in the pledge manager.
